It just rubbed me up the wrong way and I can’t shake how utterly repulsed I was hearing that he gave the people he set up to get injured or die, a discounted fee of $100,000 to hear him speak.

I’m wondering what the gala would have raised without Bush being there. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but sometimes it takes money to make money.
