Greatest comedy director of the new century?

I'd say so. I haven't seen his Thor movie but when you look at the run of Boy, What We Do In The Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Jojo Rabbit, it's a pretty flawless output of smart, extremely funny, well-written comedy.

He's one director who for me is yet to disappoint. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

I said best comedy director. Happy to hear your suggestions of greatest comedy director of the new century. Or you could just continue to be an ass-hat. Your choice.

Yeah, you're really boring. And completely dull, in every sense of the word.

You can stop following me around now. It's getting kind of weird. I don't like you like that, sorry.

You are a cretin. Since you're too dumb to google:

The word arises from the Latin word imbecillus, meaning weak, or weak-minded. It included people with an IQ of 26–50, between "idiot" (IQ of 0–25) and "moron" (IQ of 51–70).

The guy is in a league of his own, no question. He’s easily my favorite. And it’s impressive how good of an actor he is as well (he’s that talented).

Detractors (the usual ones you hear from up in this place... Zzz) be damned. Taika rules

reply

Absolutely, I particularly liked his performance in Boy. He’s also an excellent writer. A true all-rounder.

reply

Not sure about him being the best, but I loved Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

Can't really think of too many comedy directors? Edgar Wright, Coen Brothers, Chaplin, the Paul guy that makes all the Kristen Wiig and friend movies, and I can't really think of anybody else. Although that isn't saying much as I'm not that well versed in film. And honestly the guy is just straight up one of the best directors of the 2000's, or at least the 2010's.

reply

He's one of my current favorites. And i like his acting roles as well!
