Emily Blunt DENIES being unnamed co-star who shouted at Rebecca Ferguson: Girl On The Train star's spokesman says pair 'are friends with nothing but love between them' as mystery deepens

Emily Blunt has denied being the mystery former film co-star that 'screamed' at Rebecca Ferguson and made her cry.

Ferguson, 40, confirmed it was not Hugh Jackman or Tom Cruise, who she acted alongside in The Greatest Showman and Mission Impossible when she appeared on Tuesday's episode of the Reign with Josh Smith podcast - with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson saying he wanted 'to find out who did this.'

Blunt's name, who starred alongside Ferguson in 2016's The Girl On The Train, began circulating on social media in the wake of the incendiary interview but a representative for the Oppenheimer star has confirmed she is not the unnamed actor.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Blunt's spokesman said: 'Rebecca and Emily are friends and there’s nothing but love between them.'

She's probably wishing she didn't say anything at this point. I haven't seen how the question even came up during the interview? I'm sure she just didn't blurt it out, out of the blue. Everyone is giving her crap about not naming the person. She's too nice of a person to give out the name.

She's finally getting some mainstream media attention, don't think thats happened for her much until now aside being Tom Cruise's co star in the last 3 Mission Impossible's where she started out as the hot new MI girl (similar to previous Emmanuelle Béart, Thandie Newton. MaggieQ, Paula Patton) but just became part of the MI team like Pegg or Ving, and was superceded in last one by the gorgeous Haylee Atwell (esp when it was revealed she and Tom might be an item) and was killed off! Dr Sleep and MiB4 where she played the main villain were expected to be huge hits but turned out huge bombs, Dune she's part of a big ensemble of B listers (headlined by young 'of the moment' sensations Timothee and Zendaya) so she just sort of disappears into the ensemble in the media attention (until now anyway :)

seems like pr stunt since no one knows who RF is

Well, look, there's only so many movies left on her filmography to narrow it down. Not the Rock, not Hugh Jackman, or Tom Cruise, and now Emily Blunt.
That leaves Michael Fassbender, Hugh Grant, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ewan McGregor, and Meryl fucking Streep. Oh yeah, and Justin Therioux. He was also in TGOTT.
Let's get to the bottom of this mystery.
