Naw, the OP is simply pointing out obvious reality, which Liberals can't handle (because they hate facts): "Caitlyn" is actually a dude. His DNA says so, regardless of his feminine apparel, make-up, and lack of a penis.
At the same time, he's welcome to live his life the way he chooses even if people like me think he's seriously deluded. In any case, he's going to have to give an account to his Creator one day. So, whereas I care about him and his welfare, at the end of the day he has his own will and makes his own choices. And he'll have to face the consequences of his (dubious) decisions, like all of us.

Not sure we’re on the same page though, I didn’t really mean live and let live but let me reserve the right to call you a delusional freak. Granted Jenner isn’t the best example of a stable trans person, but as I said the whole family is batshit. People like Laverne Cox and Chaz Bono are more worthy trans role models in my opinion. But yeah, labelling people mentally ill when they contribute as much to society as you or I isn’t an attitude I can get behind.
Actually, I'm not talking opinion, but simple, obvious reality. Look between your legs and it tells all, as far as gender goes.
Everyone has mental/spiritual illness to one degree or another; it doesn't mean they can't or don't contribute something positive to the world community. I never stated otherwise.
However, when someone is so inwardly confused that they seriously dress up like the opposite sex (I'm not talking about a costume party) and expect people to address them accordingly -- and, worse, having their genitals hacked up and regularly undergo "hormone therapy" for the rest of their lives -- this is serious mental illness and should not be accepted or celebrated as normal and healthy. Why? Because it encourages this type of damaging action and sets up others to stumble.

Yet you are being intolerant of my common sense position -- which also happens to be the traditional position -- that there are 2 basic genders based on the sex organ between a person's legs provided for them in the womb. If a person is so confused about their gender that they're willing to have their genitals removed that indicates mental/spiritual illness to a severe degree. How is this radical and intolerant? Look to Australia for this nonsense. They are pushing in law so that people can change there gender which means that it would be on there birth certificate. Do you have any idea how dangerous that is. There are certain conditions, illnesses, treatments that are gender specific and require knowing this by doctors.
I know a transgender a woman, even she is sick of everything that is gong on. If you want people to let them get on with there lives then stop criminalising people who disagree, stop removing spaces and things that woman have fought for, stop putting biological men into womans sport and saying it is fair and stop calling people transphobic for disagreeing wth your opinion. Yeah and I didn't accuse you or Wuchak of hate crimes and, even less, that your opinion is a crime. Jeez if I would do that I would be a total hypocrite since I used to share your opinion on this. My opinion changed when a person close to me had decided to change his gender and let's say that he/she really wasn't happy with his/her body. So well when this happens closer to you, you have no other choice than rethink the whole question.

I wish Bruce/Caitlin well and a long, happy life. But in the final analysis, like all transgenders, he is a man who wants to be a woman (or vice versa). All the dresses, make-up and surgery in the world won't change the fact that he's biologically male. I, on the other hand, was born female. Didn't need surgery to get there and even if I go out without make-up and wearing pants, I'm pretty sure everyone knows I'm a girl.
This has probably already been mentioned, but you could say the same about intersex people. I know someone who is intersex and while she can't get pregnant and give birth, and has to take female hormones to 'appear' female, she has always lived as a female and considers herself a true woman.
