You're spot-on about some of the actresses you mentioned. I think I didn't think about Saoirse, because she's not in that many movies and Brie Larson has been in only one thing I saw.

I don't know Kelly MacDonald's work, so I personally can't comment.

I feel exactly the same way about Anne Hathaway, she's ok but nothing outstanding, so I would probably then bump her from my list.
