Anyone else grow up with his movies?

KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE was probably my second-most watched VHS when I was a kid. I just could not get enough. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a hold of his other work until I was in high school.

Anyone else grow up with Miyazaki's work? It left a big impression on me as a writer for sure.

Nope. Marathoned (more or less) his movies in early-mid 2016 when I was 21. I only watched most of Chihiro and Nausicaa before that 5 or so years earlier.

Too old, grew up with Disney on NBC. If I were born in 1960, I could have watched Lupin III at 19.
Most of his work started five years later: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
