Favorite Ryan O’Neal movie?

I enjoyed Paper Moon a lot when I was growing up. I watched it a couple years ago and found it was still just as good.

Barry Lyndon and Tough Guys Don't Dance.

Oh God oh man!

reply

LOL. That's the only thing I remember from that movie.

reply

Haha.

I AM NOT A RYAN ONEAL FAN....I DO HAVE A COPY OF PAPER MOON ON MY TO WATCH SHELF THOUGH.

Driver (1978) Is one of my favorite movies.

It's also the only Ryan O'Neal film or tv show I've ever seen lol.

reply

I second "Driver". Great car chase sequences

reply

The thief who came to dinner.

reply

Barry Lyndon with Paper Moon a close second.

reply

Probably a surprise choice, but.....

What's Up Doc? (1972)

reply

Barry Lyndon and The Driver. I need to check out Paper Moon at some point.

reply

I was just a baby during it's heyday, but did anyone like Peyton Place? I think there are some episodes on YT. I liked Love Story, and What's Up Doc as well. Paper Moon was OK. He also played a grandpa on Desperate Housewives.

reply

I watched reruns of Peyton Place during the late 1980s on the local Fox station that needed it for daytime filler. I was addicted to that show.

I never got into What’s Up Doc? Ditto with Barry Lindon. I was really into Love Story when I was a teen, but I can’t watch it anymore. (Ali Magraw is so wooden.)

reply

Maybe because she was kinda new to acting. I saw the film in 2002. I recall seeing the Doc film as a kid. I recall it was a little funny.

reply

Maybe? She was awful in The Winds of War, too, more than a decade later. I think she was hired for her appearance for both projects (it was mentioned in the press). Jane Seymour replaced her in the sequel to TWOW, War and Remembrance.
