I don't recall Payne having anything to do with Cedar Rapid.

shareAh, ok, he was one of the films five producers. I typically consider a film to be "by" someone if he directed it, or if he was the sole or primary writer.
shareI've enjoyed every film of his that I've seen. Sideways, Election, and Nebraska are his best ones, but About Schmidt, The Descendants, and Downsizing are all quite good too. The difference between first and sixth place among those films is minimal for me.
