Classic Italian Beauty!

Used to have the biggest crush on her in her “Greatest American Hero” days. Then there was “Hotel” which was alright but she didn’t wow me in that. The movie “The Bermuda Depths” has stayed me with ever since I saw it as a kid. The thing is I never in all those years knew that it was her in that film, & it was her first role btw. Was shocked to finally revisit the movie & learn that it was her. She was so young in that!

She was married to Buck Rogers himself, Gil Gerard which was cool as I like them both. Lasted under ten years but that must have been 10 years of Gil being very happily married to a gorgeous woman such as Connie or as she’s actually named Concetta Sellecchia. He must have had fun if you get my drift, I know I would have. She’s got the classic black/raven hair of many Italian women. A standout for sure.

Once read a TV guide article on her (Or was it on Gil?) where he was saying when it was time to get into bed with her at night, she’d make up herself to appear dead in some gruesome fashion or another such as her throat being slit, stabbing, decapitation, etc. So after Gil climbed into bed & laid next to her, this is what he’d find. Obviously it was something she enjoyed doing, whether she wanted to shock him or just mess around & try to blow his mind. She possessed a morbid sense of humor. She was obviously quite adept in the makeup or “fx” dept. Well I was like “WHOA! REALLY?!” Just goes to show you never really know about people, things you never could suspect they were into but I guess that’s part of her personality or it was. Well now you know too!

She married a Christian evangelical later on, you may know the guy, John Tesh & she became a born again Christian as well. She sells skin care products these days, her own line but other than that I don’t know what she’s up to but I miss her from the old days.
