Really sad and shocking news, hope he'll pull through. Been a fan of the show since the 80s. His appearance on Cheers was a classic.

This is a real bummer. Almost my entire life he's been on a nearby TV station weeknights at 7:30. He's been hosting Jeopardy for longer than I think any current world leader has been in office. He's also hosted the show longer than Johnny Carson was on The Tonight Show.
