Who should play him in a movie?

If a movie was made about the life and career of Donald Trump, who should play him? Maybe Jeffrey Jones. He looks SO MUCH like him and has his arrogant, swaggering persona on screen. (The Crucible, The Devil's Advocate)

Actually, the main problem would not be who should play him but rather who the screenwriters and directors are? Will they portray him as a complex anti-hero with shades of white, gray and black the way so many historical and present-day figures are? Or will they simply scrape whatever bits of dirt they can find from mainstream media and put it into a nice little collage to fit a scripted narrative?

Shane Gillis did a pretty awesome job portraying Trump on SNL. I'm not even thinking of his portrayal as a comedy it was just awesome.

There are no " shades of white and gray" in Trump. LOL. He is traitor, coward, liar, sexist and dictator wannabe. Not to mention putins little bitch.

I'm not a Trump fan. I'm not fond of either party. All I mean to say is when you do a historical figure in a movie--unless you're doing Hitler or Stalin--you need to look at all sides of the equation in what the history books and documents say if you want to do a great job--neither deifying or demonizing the person of interest. A film director could make the same mistake with a movie on Joe Biden too. Authenticity is tricky.

You know?? You keep beating this "Trump is a Dictator" drum, yet, I seem to recall Joe Biden mandating a covid vaccine in that if you didn't comply with it, you ran the risk of losing your employment and livelihood, so please, think before you post.. 🙄

No scraping required at all. Just fill the script with Trump proud moments in front of the microphone on TV. Trump is very proud of his sexual assault perks and gun grabbing. The script will almost write itself.

Kathy Bates would make a good Trump for the later years.

Meryl Streep is confirmed to play Hillary Clinton in a new biopic called Ladies Choice - releasing in 2026. So far the rumors are Alec Baldwin will play Trump.
