Yep, this is how Russians act. They first use you and then brush their shoes with you. They do it to individuals and to countries too. The poor dolt Tucker, merely a conduit of Russian propaganda, probably thought that this is his star moment.

Yet, the line of useful idiots has no end. And frankly, Tucker is not even half as useful as Musk is, but even Musk pales in comparison to Trump.

Apparently there is a different meaning in Russian for 'dangerous man' if you read the comments. But yeah, Poutine was surprised how easily he rolled over like a dog to him. He thought he'd be interviewing a fighter, not an appeaser.

I assume that Putin is disappointed how easy Carlson was following him like a dog. Because of that, everyone who is not totally blind to it, notice it and thus Carlson interview is totally useless. He couldn't convince ANYONE that he is the nice uncle, who totally is just forced into war.
He had a paid journalist e.g. also in Germany, who was able to place a positive documentation about Putin at prime time. That was super useful for him and the reporter had been likely even went undiscovered, if he had not been too greedy and triggering some investigations by investigative journalists (https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/hubert-seipel-5-points-on-german-journalist-accused-of-receiving-money-to-praise-putin-4575016)

Neither for or against Carlson but the way he sat there and looked at Putin during the interview made him look retarded.

I assume there were limitations on questions, but I don't think Putin got him to agree to look like a jackass.
