KISS are geniuses, not their fault people are idiots and will waste money on anything they promote.

I wouldn't say that makes them geniuses. What they're doing is fairly obvious and takes absolutely no creativity.

i kinda admire the audacity of it tbh.

&...it's not like they're con artists, like peter popoff selling you false hope.

they're telling you they're giving you nothing for your money. no false advertising.

i wouldn't sell something like that. and i sure wouldn't buy it.

but it's a big world.

i certainly wasted a lot of money on some very questionable things when i was younger.

so i can't judge too harshly. glass houses and all that.

And that's why I never considered them a real band. They are advertisers first and a band second. And not even a good band.

if you want to say they're bubblegum metal, i'm not going to argue with you!
i think they made some fun, silly records.

it's adolescent music, but..y'know, what's so great about being mature?
i don't want to listen to dreary music about tax forms and prostate exams.

i actually have a high school friend who did some stage management for some of their tours.
