When I googled your question, the answers came back as anywhere from 5'8" to 5'10".

This guy is so weird. One minute he appears kind of towering, the next he looks a bit on the short side. It's like he keeps shrinking and growing between takes/scene/episodes/interviews/productions/well, every time I see him he seems a different size, basically.

Does anyone else get that impression, or am I just really confused?

I read in an interview with Steven Moffat that Smith tends to be a bit slouchy. So that's probably why he changes heights during scenes. Good posture can add a few inches to your height.

I got the impression he was a lot taller. Maybe because he's so lanky.

Maybe this is a stupid answer, but it could depend on who he is standing next to and how close he is standing to someone. I've noticed he is very in your face, especially if his character is angry.

I alwyas thought he was shorter, but I guess Gillian is just tall.

Karen Gillan looks taller than him in a lot of scenes, but it could be heels.

What I want to know is how much does Matt Smith weigh? He's so thin.
