I didn't laugh once, but at least he found his jokes funny.

I've never seen any host manage to lose their audience in 20 seconds flat. Literally the first thing he said after introducing himself was "I'm so excited to be here. This is a dream come true, not just for me but for *everybody* in here. We all dreamed of this moment." What?? That makes no sense at all. It was all downhill right there.

I was so confused what he meant about that. The dude is hosting. Others were there as nominees, others were there as presenters and others were just invited. Other than being nominated, where's the dream?

It was his dream to be standing there as host of the Golden Globes. He said he used to stay up late watching it as a child. Okay I get that. But your audience is a room full of Hollywood stars and seasoned industry professionals. They are WAY past the point of considering it a "dream" to be sitting in an awards ceremony. He was totally out of his depth.

I had no idea who this guy is until I read that he was bad host. And I still don't know him. And I follow showbiz.

Were all other comedians passing? They really should have bring Ricky Jervais again.

People saying how bad he was almost makes me want to watch it myself.

Apparently the Golden Globes kept getting turned down and were stuck with this guy. You should watch it if you want second hand embarrassment.

Eventually Globes would come to conclusion that Ricky would be the only one who would not turn them down.

Also its weird why other comedians would pass. It's a well payed job and you get free publicity. You will be in press all the time.

Like I don't think this guy is even cries too much for bad press. At least now people would actually hear about his existence. Its not like Amy or Tina are too busy.

It's probably more to the fact that comedy is forbidden now and they simply dont know what they are allowed to joke about and that they might be cancelled for one bad joke afterwards. So they just passed.

Some might be even kicked on stage like Chris Rock. For freaking bad joke.

They started the Comedy Performance category this year and they chose this year to have the worst host. Get Jim Carrey or something. He's not offensive.
