The House Democratic leader at her weekly news conference unveiled a poster covered with headstones representing various bills and pieces of legislation that have become stalled in the Senate.

"Leader McConnell seems to take great pride in calling himself the 'Grim Reaper,' it's part of his political campaign," Pelosi said at the press conference. "It's part of the pride he takes as leader of the Senate."

"None of these things are going to pass," she continued. "They're not even going to be voted on."

Among the bills being left to die is the "For the People Act," which would give voting rights to felons and an attempt to instantly mint two new Democratic senators by making the District of Columbia a state.

There are also bills advancing progressive positions regarding Dreamers and gun control, as well as the Equality Act, which would essentially destroy women's sports by opening the floodgates for biological males to compete against biological females at any level.

Most of these bills are mind-numbing assaults on freedom that are embraced by coastal progressives but loathed by Americans who aren't getting contact highs in legal weed states.

One of the greatest unexpected byproducts of the Trump era is that Mitch McConnell discovered a spine that he hadn't previously possessed.
