I thought it sounded very accurate. As she was first speaking in the movie I was thinking "she sounds like someone who hasn't spoken in a very long time."

I have experienced this myself having been on a respirator for a time after a very serious head injury. I wasn't able to speak for a while afterwards and had to go through extensive speech therapy - which is why I thought her portrayal was very accurate.

I find it SO ridiculous that people get offended by EVERYTHING nowadays and make filmmakers apologize for the slightest thing. When will people learn to stop apologizing? It only makes things worse. I've actually experienced the disorder they're referencing in the article and I DIDN'T WANT AN APOLOGY.
