It must really suck being you. You sound like you believe whatever TV tells you. A trans person of color with a disability who is bullied at school and who is trying to call attention with the murders (?????) to get the Crown Act passed. I saw a leaked script, I swear. I'd say it's good bit more than "rough sex." His DMs that he's in trouble for talked about breaking women's bones and using their blood for lube (not to mention cannibalism references). The guy needs help. But hey, that's Hollywood. I guess over there that's a little less scary. Right now he sounds pissed off that we're angry about it. I loved the book as a kid, but I find the movie to be annoying (kid with glasses) and cheesy (the musical numbers). But for some reason my son loves it and it never got old even on the 50th viewing. I would show him the book but for some reason he hates being read to... 😕 I was squirming in my seat... with pure arousal. Not in the movie because he pays the ultimate price for his actions but I find him despicable in real life (Haiti, Clinton Foundation, pedophilia jokes on Twitter...). It's beyond obvious - it's cartoonish. They may as well have made him Scooby Doo. He mugs for the camera several times in the trailer alone. Goddamn. I'm so upset by this because this movie is based on one of favorite books as a kid. I, too, would like to have seen real dogs used but I guess it's just too hard nowadays to train real dogs and do take after take after take to get them to do what you want when CGI will work right every time... it just looks awful. Favorite North Korean movie? hahaha! I was just watching videos on her personal Youtube channel lecturing the public on how "it's awkward to co-parent after a divorce but somehow I make it work" and "I didn't have the dream wedding I wanted" and I'm like bitch nobody does! The only difference is we're not on the internet complaining about it! What a narcissistic bitch. I thought it sounded very accurate. As she was first speaking in the movie I was thinking "she sounds like someone who hasn't spoken in a very long time." I have experienced this myself having been on a respirator for a time after a very serious head injury. I wasn't able to speak for a while afterwards and had to go through extensive speech therapy - which is why I thought her portrayal was very accurate. I find it SO ridiculous that people get offended by EVERYTHING nowadays and make filmmakers apologize for the slightest thing. When will people learn to stop apologizing? It only makes things worse. I've actually experienced the disorder they're referencing in the article and I DIDN'T WANT AN APOLOGY. View all replies >
