shareScarlett Johansson is very lucky she got cast as Black Widow because Emily Blunt was commited to other movie. That gave her 10 more years of relevanse. Because her 15 minutes of fame were fading and she would long time be forgotten and replaced by young actresses is not that Marvel relevansy. As her own solo movies dont go anywhere.
They kept putting her n lad roles but those movies didnt make hat much money.
Pretty sure her time on the top tier is done. She can have a steady career, but it might mean taking roles that seven/eight years ago she'd have said no to.

She was just lucky to get into few franchises that got money and they kept nominating her for awards and media started to convince themselves that she is Last New Movie Star. Because they wanted it so much to be true. Since really - no new movies stars are being made like it was back in a day.
But her Starness went away the moment her own solo movies started bombing.
Same way you can call Chris Hemsworth and Pratt "movie stares" just because they are in big franchises that made money.
Movie star is when person is known by everyone in the world and can make any solo movie to make money because people will come to theater just because they star in it. It was never like that with Jennifer Lawrence. No one went to movis justfor her. They went for Hunger Games, for X-Men etc.
