Whole lot of "slut-shaming" here

Sasha Grey is obviously not Meryl Streep. But if you compare her to model Kate Upton or singer Pink or any number of other people who have tried their hand at acting, she's not that bad at all. Basically, most of the threads here are about how she's not allowed to be an actress because she was in porn or she can't be taken seriously as an actress because she was in porn or how she only became an actress because she screwed the right people (in which case, porn starlets would cross over to the mainstream all the time). This is basically just a lot of "slut-shaming".

For all I know, Jennifer Lawrence might do "ATMs" with two or three guys a time. And maybe she does it because she likes it, not even for the money like I'm pretty sure Sasha Grey did. Who cares? It's simply NOT relevant to whether someone is a good actress or not.

Then there is the hypocrisy. If you've seen Sasha Grey in porn, you basically PAID her--directly or indirectly--to do porn. So you're a hypocrite to try to put all the shame and the "dirty" on her. If I do something "shameful" with a girl, I don't try to shift all the shame onto the girl when I did it too (or PAID her to do it). If you live in a glass house, don't cast stones at harlots. And if you've never seen her in porn because you never watch porn, then why the hell does it bother you? I doubt she's the only "sinner" in Hollywood.
