Slavery is still a thing to this day

Slavery is basically kidnapping someone and then forcing them to work for you for no pay. It's known in the USA for having happened to blacks, but same-race slavery does happen to this day and even blacks forcing whites to work in Africa, say.

It really is a damning indictment of human society worldwide and throughout history.

Yes, there have always been, and will always be, people who suck. If I were God, I'd end all the suckiness right now, but unfortunately I didn't get elected.

An estimated 40,000,000 people are enslaved today, more than anytime in history.

Yet, many people are obsessed with slavery that ended in the 19th century rather than trying to end it today.
