I don't know why but sometimes she reminds me of Marlee Matlin.

Is it because she makes you speechless? #TooSoon

reply

What does #TooSoon have to do with anything ?

reply

Whenever someone says something offensive, they always joke that it's too soon after the incident.

reply

What incident ?

reply

Perhaps he's meaning Matlin's hearing loss?

reply

What has Matlin's hearing loss got to do with it ? And even if it did have anything to do with it why would it be called too soon ?

reply

I'm only guessing. I don't know

reply

I said that Marlee Matlin makes you speechless because she's mute.

As far as "too soon":
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=too%20soon

reply

Why would Marlee Matlin make me speechless because she's mute ? And what incident and what was offensive ? And what was too soon ?

reply

I'm saying that you thinks
she's hot and she leaves you speechless.

It's not specifically about an incident, but just the fact that she is mute. "Too soon" is what people say after an offensive joke.

reply

I didn't say I thought either of them was hot I just said Jessie Mei Li reminds me of Marlee Matlin for some reason so your response was bullshit. There was nothing offensive about my post either so that was bullshit. It wasn't an incident so that was bullshit. And so it can't have been too soon so that was also bullshit. So why did you respond to my post with complete bullshit ?

reply

I never said your comment was offensive. And I know you never said either of them were hot. I made an offensive joke and used the #TooSoon joke. It doesn't have to be used for an incident. Just look at the definition of "too soon":

A phrase used to respond to someone making a comment that was intended to be funny, but touches on subject matter that shouldn't be joked about, usually because it was a cosmologically recent event.

I don't know why you're so mad.

reply

He's mad because he's not paying attention.

reply

He's usually pretty cool but this seems out of character.

reply

Maybe he was having a bad day.

reply

But only if it is a recent incident. Otherwise it makes no sense, and your joke #fallsflat

reply

Nope. Look at the urbandictionary definition above. It says "usually involves a recent event. it doesn't have to be a recent event. And people always make jokes about the Holocaust and it's not a recent event. #TheJokeStands

reply

Urban Dictionary? Sure. I'll be sure to cite them next time I make a joke that no one understands or thinks is funny except for me.

reply

It's not going to be in a regular dictionary.
