shareNo. Unless there was a "scientist" among the people that went to capture Kong and study him, then I'd say it merely goes under the "monster movie" genre.

shareI consider it more horror and fantasy. I feel like an island full of dinosaurs is more fantasy and wouldn't happen in the future. Knowing how things go, if someone in real life did discover an island of dinosaurs and told the public about it, the government would send secret agents to get said person and make him/her reveal exactly where it was. Then they'd send the airforce to blow up the entire island.
