Best Lines and quotes.

There is a lot of great lines of dialogue in here. I'd like to hear some of yours. Here are a few of mine: "Money, I hate, loathe, despise and abominate money...You also spend it." "I've worked all my life to be a Senior". "A while back I kicked her down the cellar steps, I could hear her spine hit on every step".{Marjorie Main about Agnes' cat}. "Personally, I think I have to much bloom". Just a few of my faves, How about You?

Papa: You also SPEND it!

It must be the proposal scene after the ball when Warren marches into the livingroom and yells at Rose. Especially the "I love you" was hilarious. Best proposal ever.

I like the scene where Esther tries to apologize to John for attacking him, and John says something to the effect..

"Not much worse than football practice, but it's a lot more fun with a girl."

Whenever I hear Rose's line - "I hate, loathe, despise and abominate money" - I think "I hate, loathe, despise and abominate... housework! Any other suggestions?

When they've found out they are going to move to New York the youngest one starts to leave the room to get ready. Someone says they've got tons of time. She replies that it's going to take her quite a while to dig up all her dolls that she's buried in the cemetery. It's just so twisted, yet tossed off like it's nothing.

I also liked when the boy next door is first trying to complement Garland's character. First he says he loves her perfume because its the same one his grandmother wears and then later he tells her she's got a really strong grip for a girl.

"My name is Paikea Apirana, and I come from a long line of chiefs stretching all the way back to the Whale Rider."

I just watched it a second time and a line I didn't even remember stood out like crazy this time. It's when Agnes says "I hope it's a hunting knife".

I think she's such a sweet little thing, just like Tootie, and even though they pulled a pretty serious prank on the trolley driver on Halloween, when I saw her sitting in the rocking chair, wearing that lovely plaid dress, with bows in her hair, delivering that line...

...I went quite a bit Chandler. Are you actually saying these words???
