The ridiculous ballad that opened, closed, and explained various scenes within this movie was absolutely the worst western movie song, ever. Even worse that "OK Corral" and "Shalako". Any candidates for more egregious western movie songs?

Worse than "Shalako"?! Wow, that's grim.

If you can find it, listen to the sung version of the theme from "The Rifleman". Thank God they vetoed using it in the show and just stuck with the instrumental version.
