because it's a true story the final in this was some of the most gut wrenching and panicky vibes i've gotten from watching a movie, the captain in this was in the great twilight zone episode the trouble with templeton, and the lines the woman is reading to the kid were the same lines used in lecture in the twilight zone episode the changing of the guard, by the way, robert wagner has kept the same hairstyle for over 60 years, i'm so used to seeing him in the austin powers movies. i hesitated to watch this for a while cause on the plot description and trailer it appeared like a cute and shallow movie with badly aged comedy. you get so engaged in the story between the relation on board you forget how you know it ends. there are at least two black and white titanic movies, the other one is not titled titanic, but "a night to remember" and stars bond girl / the avengers (pre emma peel) actress honor blackman, and i figure it's british, i don't recall any of it since it's been years since i saw it and probably only focused on the bond girl. i suppose this has some flaws, some of the bits seemed rushed, i don't recall the 1997 remake exactly, but that runs twice as long as this.
