Was Grace Kelly ever more ravishing?

Her stunning beauty alone makes this movie a masterpiece. The character of Lisa could've been written for her, given her wealthy society upbringing. And Kelly was born for 50s fashions: rich, elegant, feminine. They set off her extraordinary looks to perfection.

Rear Window is my favorite Hitchcock for many reasons. Being able to spend almost 2 hours looking at Grace Kelly is one of them.

I agree, she was never more stunning! She was so beautiful and it was so sad what happened to her, a life taken way too soon. Tragic.

One of the greatest character entrance EVER. I can only imagine how breathtaking must have been to watch that close up shot on a big ass theater screen.

She's made up though as if she was attending a big even Everytime we see her. I imagine a lot of women would really benefit (men as well) from taking care of themselves and dressing up a bit like they used to.

I remember when I saw Rear Window for the first time like it was yesterday. I was 20 years old. I'd never seen a Grace Kelly movie and didn't know anything about her (this was pre-internet). When she filled the movie theater screen my eyes lit up and I almost gasped. I had never seen a more alluring woman in my life.

She’s more angel than human. Transcendentally beautiful.
