2) At the end, was it implied all the fathers were forcing them to get married because they thought they had been improper when living up there? Seems like they get married right then and there. Anyone wonder if the baby wasn't revealed as Milly's?
I don’t know if they were all natural redheads, but I highly doubt it.
As I understand it, the fathers were, rather implausibly, led to believe that one of the girls had given birth to the baby, but kept in the dark as to which one. I suppose the viewing audience is meant to believe that the parents will not be too mad when they learn of the ruse because the girls are really in love with their respective Pontipee boy. I’ll bet some of the absent mothers will be really mad that their husbands were duped into insisting upon a shotgun wedding.
