She aged very gracefully
Peter Jackson must have run of money
You shouldn't switch sweethearts in mid-lam.

Seems plausible, I agree, but I don’t think there is enough evidence to say definitively.
I give it a 4: worse than average in quality and entertainment value. I would neither watch it again nor recommend anyone else watch it unless they are a fan of Donald Sutherland for some reason.
I agree. A waste of a talented cast.
He doesn’t want to pay Weta’s operating expenses out of his own pocket. The company needs a constant stream of project work to stay solvent/profitable.
I agree; it’s entertaining. The dubbing is a bit annoying, though. Make sure to watch a restored print. It can be found on YouTube.
Ultimately, the reason the writers gave Rory a “colorful” romantic life is to create drama and hold viewer interest. A stable relationship with the first good guy you meet can work well in real life but makes for boring television. Viewers want to live vicariously through Rory and/or second guess her decisions. Even if they hate her, as youn seem to, they are emotionally invested.
You may yet acquire good taste in your later years, ABD.
Cutest: Frank
Handsomest: Benjamin
It’s quite alright. You may yet acquire good taste in you later years..
Dorcas - and I’m pretty sure it’s spelled with an “a” rather than a “u”. And, befittingly,
Benjamin, her beau, is the best looking Pontipee brother.
