After reading the 4 pages of comments, there were a few that mentioned an HBO version, there should be a remake, and that Sean Connery should play the Victor Velasco role. Below is the original cast. Who would you cast?

What about Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz, fresh from their recent film, "What Happens in Vegas"? They could be on their way to being the next Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan or Spencer Tracy & Katharine Hepburn!

This is a depressing thread to me, there isn't any current actress/actor that could hold a candle to the original cast. Makes me sad to think how far Hollywood has sunk these days....

To read suggestions like Kate Hudson, Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan (please tell me that was a joke!)

So disturbing that this is our "talent" we have to choose from currently.

No remake. Instead, how about a cleaned up DVD of the '67 version and commentary by Redford, Fonda, and Simon?

No one could replace Mildred Natwick and Charles Boyer! They were a perfect older love match.
