People forget the TV program 'WOG: World of Giants' in the early 1960s

with Marshal Thompson, Arthur Franz, i think pretty much the same as LOTG-it was a short lived show 13 episodes and it first aired in 1959….but IA might have ripped this off

Yes, "World of Giants" came first, but the two shows only have giantism in common. The Marshall Thompson series has the hero as a miniaturized person IIRC, and on "Land of the Giants" the set up has a group of air travelers from earth crash land on a planet of giants....so one is not a copy of the other in a direct sense.

I remember "WOG" very well. They used to play an episode every day after school.
