Cinematography was stunning

This movie meant to be watched on big screen. I truly felt it while watching opening scenes with those amazing aerial shots of desert and water. I miss those days when movies made good cinematography. I watched it on tv. But it had to look stunning while in theaters.

I love re-watching older movies because you know that everything that shot was shot on location and not in studio with green screen. You know that actors or stunt doubles actually went and walked those desert mountains.
You know that stunt people did tricks.

This whole desert shots of emptiness is what convinced people that they really were on the other planet. For the shock reveal later. Because it really felt that they were.

Its best to fast forward the opening 30 minutes or so until the hunt in the cornfields starts. Prior to that is boring, unless you enjoy seeing 3 men swim naked in a lake

I enjoyed every second of walking through that deserts landscapes. Was actually sad they killed his two buddies right away. Was kinda harsh.

Oh thats the boring parts. I either fast forward those parts or stare at my phone whenever those scenes are on

It wasn't boring though. The cinematography and music made it work. That was the point the OP was making.

And that’s why your dumbass self should just stick to Michael Bay movies and prohibit yourself from posting on this site
