Who did she play? Student, teacher, administrator?

Google, IMDB or Wikipedia might help and would take less time than waiting for someone to do your research.

But Karen’s prof needs some chat. Hoping to hear from folks who watched the show. Karen was an “it” girl when this show ran so curious what her character arc was. I saw just a few episodes of 222 and it looked like an interesting show. Something that would lead to ensemble shows like St Elsewhere and Hill Street Blues.

But in the spirit of fun, I did watch 222 originally, and it was sweet at the time and ground-breaking in retrospect.
Karen Valentine was right on that border of being a female teen heart throb, like Laurie Partridge. As a kid, she leapt off the TV screen as being pretty and clumsy and relatable.

I won’t be of much help as far as discussing this show goes, since I haven’t seen it in about 45 years. But I have seen it, and to answer your question, she was a teacher. I recall that she was barely distinguishable from her students, because really, she was only a few years older than them.

I don’t know why, but for some reason, I was reminded of another show that was on at the same time, Love, American Style. Just looked that one up, and it turns out that it ran in the same exact years (1969 to 1974).

I remember that show 😆

Thanks for the info on Karen

I wish whoever deleted their account was still here.
Anyone taking an interest in Room 222 is likely a nice person to know.
