I can't finish this stupid movie.

Is there a condensed version I can see?

They tried too hard with all the political bull, how could it be so overt when none of it was present in the first one, which, in terms of timeline, happens very shortly before the second.

Also, although I get it, nuclear war, and two thousand years pass by, how the heck could Manhattan grow mountains from the type of rocks that don't exist there?

It's just stupid. Can't even fap to Nova in this.

reply

It takes about 500 years for a mountain to grow from other rocks, so its very possible that Manhattan had mountains during this time

reply

Don't you mean 500 million years?

reply

Damm, is the planet even 500 million years old?

reply

Only a couple of thousand I think. When was adam and eve?

reply

I don't think they can be more than a thousand years old. Remember, America only been around 500 years or so because of Columbus. Adam and Eve must have lived in Africa

reply

I'm not sure. I only remember anything from 2016 onwards. i was awakened the minute Trump got elected to battle the devious lefties.

reply

In the first one, the Ape Army had not yet decided to invade The Forbidden Zone. I think this was a direct reaction to the appearance of Taylor. Perhaps the Chimp activists were also triggered by what they saw and learned of Taylor. Movements can spring up very quickly.

It was because their scouts had gone missing with one returning talking of walls of fire etc...

reply

And why were the scouts in The Forbidden Zone? To find the colony of advanced humans that they believed Taylor came from. Only Zaius knew the truth. The other apes assumed Taylor was a 'freak of nature' and that there were more like him out there.

reply

To seek new areas for growing crops seeing as the humans were ravaging all the crops they had. They were on the verge of famine. There is mention of it in Ursus speech, but no mention of hunting Taylor
