Just gets better and better....

I swear, Diamonds is a film I just can't ever get enough of. This film sums up why 007 is one of the best and most iconic characters ever created. It has it all, fantastic action, beautiful babes(like ridiculously hawt!I wish I was Connery back then! Man!), and some of the best lines ever uttered in the series! I just couldn't help but pop it in last night and I literally smile from ear to ear almost every frame! Pure 70s gold! There are a few films that when I crave Bond, they are my go-to's and Diamonds is always top 3 on that list!

Anyone else just LOVE Diamonds??

It's a ton of fun and the ultimate guilty pleasure Bond flick for me. Cheesy as hell, but anchored by brilliant dialog, great humor, fun characters, an excellent score, and just an awesome, old-school 70s atmosphere that can't be replicated. Plus, Vegas!

It is sad that more people do not have your point of view on this classic Bond

you people are speaking my language, if you like the bond girls in this i tell you there are deleted scenes with one of the actresses only wearing a bathing towel, the dvd to this includes four deleted scenes, can you believe that, it's weird seeing additional scenes to a movie which at the time of dvd had been around intact like this for about thirty years, one of the deleted scenes is an appearance by sammy davis jr, now why in the world would they cut that out, something cool they did with "the blues brothers" (1980) is that they added deleted scenes into the actual movie on dvd, so there is an extended version now. this is the weirdest bond flick aside from the circumstances of "never say never again", others has pointed this out, i read it has something to do with the book taking place in the 1950s, shot in vegas in the 70s, those two happy fellas suppose to be villains but still so funny, their final scene.. this.. this is a cartoon, blofeld dressed up as a lady.. for someone suppose to be the main villain blofeld is often more amusing than threatening, the soundtrack is also the most mystical sounding like, this might just have my favorite theme song as well as poster / cover. if you count the voice willard whyte has a pretty big part in this movie, one of the things that struck me about this are the settings, look at those huge rooms, windows, fit more for a giant, right, i had no idea cassette tapes had been around this long, also notice one actor in this is the same as in the opening of "the man with the golden gun", and the elevator reminds of "the spy who loved me", apparently bond is always prepared for falling through an elevator trap.

tried resisting you doing my best,
you put on your tight red dress,
my mind got wasted in a sec,
eyeballs fell down your cleavage,
as you started moving,
eyes bouncing dizzy between boobies,
throwing your big hair my mind got played,
walked away from reality with me folded the game.

Really? It gets worse for me every time I watch it. It’s my least favorite Bond film and is one of three that I legitimately hate.

I agree. There were a few nice scenes. Like the beginning when Bond takes a girl’s top off. I liked the gay henchmen. Hated Bambi and Thumper. I don’t care for Vegas and I’ve never liked 70s fashion so the clothes and hairstyles aren’t even fun to look at.

DAF is lame.

The only kind of funny moment was when Bond says “I’m afraid you’ve caught me with more than my hands up”, but even then Connery looks so bored it kind of ruins it.

After I saw it on blu-ray it has become one of my favorite bond films. It has something the other Bond films doesn't have - a certain vibe. OHMSS also has this in it's own way.

The score hypnotic, and I really like Sean in it.

Lana Wood. That car chase in Vegas. That moon buggy chase. It's a good Bond movie. Not great, but definitely watchable.
