"Making mudpies, 007?"

Only Charles Gray could deliver that line with such eloquence...

that brings me right back, much as i love the acting of pleasence, savalas and sydow, i've enjoyed other roles of theirs more and would have been just fine with gray as permanent blofeld, while he doesn't come off as evil as other portrayals, to be honest he's just so funny and neat in the part delivering the dialogue i prefer this blofeld, there is that one last appearance in the official bond movies (though not named) by blofeld in "for your eyes only", reading through this board it says blofeld is suppose to be greek, i guess the 1969 version would suit then, by the way, weren't blofeld also in "from russia with love" as voice only, few seem to have mentioned that, some are bothered by the fact that gray played two different roles in the franchise but i think that works just fine because he looked and played them so differently. i'm really surprised about all the negative comments this movie gets on this board, i always liked it and critics give it good ratings too, people just seem to find this silly and light, but like someone else here said "i don't tune into bond for dark heavy drama", these are just some goofy fun (well up to the mid 1980s anyway..) flicks enjoyed by kids as well as adults, that's why i think moore handled the role right, bringing some humour to the part, i find this is connery's bond flick with the weirdest vibe, probably my favorite art cover and one of my favorite movie song tracks, one thing i have to agree with though i always found the follow up encounter with blofeld after 1969 a bit dissatisfying. i read that it's possibly gray doing some voice work in "the spy who loved me", that would make three different roles in the franchise.

out in middle of nowhere amazing they say,
far from rules n regulations,
livin like regular fred flintstone days,
after such a long time she returned,
out of the man cave i got lured,
into developed big sister society lost in big world.
