Sure, I get everyone didn't want to go behind her up Christmas trees, or through air-shafts etc, in case she got stuck and trapped them behind her, and all that.

But, really Mr Rogo? She just saved you and the whole group by freeing the preacher from drowning, giving herself a fatal heart attack in the process, and all you can do is comment on her weight again with the line:

"Had a lotta guts, lady. Lotta guts!"

You're a MORON. What did you want him to do....kill himself? He felt terrible for her, conveyed it and then moved on like he should of. Did you want him to break out a picnic for everyone in her name? Good God where do you dimwit posters come from?

Worse, it seems like you think someone using it actually needs to INDICATE it's use for it to recognised as such. You're showing a total lack of understanding as to what it is in the first place.

Rogo said she had a lot of guts (courage), but OP's joke is that Rogo was saying a lot of guts (fat stomach).

It wasnt a very funny joke, but it was an attempt at humor, nonetheless

Sarcasm is the use of irony to convey satire. Rogo said something ironic, and I used it in a satirical way.

Once more, just because YOU don't understand what it is, it doesn't mean it isn't sarcasm.
