Never got an answer to this question. Is the weird dude sitting on the stool out front gazing up at the sun and then later washing the van's windshield- is that ol' Leatherface himself?? I don't know about anyone else, but I always thought so, but the movie doesn't address this character, as far as I know.

share That’s definitely not leatherface but I assume is a friend of the family and probably not the brightest bulb and gets a low wage to help clean windows at the gas station
The actor that played this character died in 1986 .. damn
