I’m pretty sure he had a drug habit hence the watery eyes, sniffy nose and tired gait. That’s definitely not leatherface but I assume is a friend of the family and probably not the brightest bulb and gets a low wage to help clean windows at the gas station The actor that played this character died in 1986 .. damn Yep and the mystery behind the characters is what keeps me interested. I’ve wondered many times how this family operates on a daily basis and just how many people they killed but I don’t want a prequel to show me these things . I really do not need another scene where leatherface is stitching his skin mask Together either 😳😳 Agree. I’ve thought about what would have been the best way to continue from the first movie and I’ve never come up with a good story. Trying to bring Leatherface and his father into a sequel is difficult. The character of leatherface is just meant for 1 movie or else you just start doing the same thing over and over. You can only have him chase people with a chainsaw and cut them up so many times .. that leaves you with his father who is pretty one note. You can add in More family members which TCM 3 did and it was somewhat successful but ultimately - they ran with the same basic formula as the other sequels. You can make a prequel and show the origin of the various family members but this is never as interesting as one might think. I honestly don’t want Leatherfaces childhood spilled out for me The narration didn’t bother me I’m curious if the book is worth picking up? King is amazing but not sure how fleshed out this particular story is Yeah I think this is why many of the 70s and 80s movies are so magical as they remind me of a time when we weren’t so devoted to tech.. we were much more outgoing and social - it was very normal for boys and girls to flirt aggressively and it was fun and expected. The culture I see today is unrecognizable.. I rarely see kids walking around or riding bikes outside.. I can’t remember the last time I saw a group of kids playing football in an open lot Yep I always liked this group of teens. They were very believable but also likable. Keaton is pretty old though. He doesn’t have that same spring or energy. I am really curious where they will take this Movie though I’m not sure really but I’m interested in what they will give us.. I imagine it will be like other sequels that came out long after the original - it will be moderately enjoyable with a little charm But ultimately falls flat and just cannot compare to the original I like Burtons style though Yeah the trailer looked bad but I tried watching it anyways.. about a half hour in I wasn’t interested or entertained. It wasn’t funny or anything. Zombie is an interesting guy but this just stunk View all replies >
