She's in the credits as someone named Dite, but I don't remember that character. Can anyone tell me where she is, or at what time she appears?

Dite was the woman who had to put her baby in the back of the carriage to be sold, but then Hammond let her keep it.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I vaguely remember that scene. Just recently got the blu-ray of this, so I'll keep an eye out for her when I re-watch. I liked Debi Morgan quite a bit in Eve's Bayou many years after this.
