Ranking the movies

1. Rocky-8.8 Awesome, Awesome! movie!

2. Rocky II-8.4 A good followup to the 1st, still was great but not quite as good as
the 1st. The fight was better tho.

3. Rocky III-7.0 This one started getting goofy, but still was entertaining and I
liked the fighting parts.

4. Rocky IV-7.0 Just as good as #III, was alright

5. Rocky Balboa-5.0 This one was just boring, I was already burned out after the 5th one.

6. Rocky V-3.0 I have really nothing good to say about it, this one sucked! No Rocky
in the ring

Rocky - Not just my favorite film of the series but my favorite movie of all time.
Rocky II
Rocky Balboa
Creed - Although you can say that Creed is only about half a Rocky film. Still a very good film overall though with an excellent performance from Stallone.
Rocky III
Rocky V
Rocky IV

reply

Rocky is also my favorite movie of all time. And Stallone should've gotten the Oscar for Creed. Still pisses me off he lost.

X-Men: Apocalypse 8/10. TMNT: Out of the Shadows 9/10. RIP Doris Roberts. You were wonderful in ELR.

Balboa last, Rocky? Come back and post your list when you've sobered up.

Of course it is, Dark. Did you expect anything less from me?

RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

III last, huh? Interesting.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

reply

Yeah, I really liked Rocky III when I was younger but Continue to like it less and less. I never liked mr.T, didn't like that apollo and rocky become friends, and the scene where Micky dies is pretty bad. I grew up watching Hulk Hogan but the scene that he's in seems pretty pointless. I just personally prefer the other movies where Rocky doesn't have a lot of money, seems more true to the original character

reply

Mickey dying is like a bad scene because, you loved Mickey and didn't like seeing him die, or it's badly acted, or what? Guess you're not an A-team fan then, huh? Lol.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!

Not a fan of Creed, huh?

5. Rocky Balboa

7. Rocky V

Even though I ranked some lower and higher than others, I still think that most, if not all, of the films are good. V was just easily the weaket by plot standards.

reply

Rocky II should be higher.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Robert Vaughn

reply

Maybe, but I felt that it was more of a rehash of the first movie, with the whole Apollo rematch thing, which makes it lower than most of the other ones. Don't get me wrong, I still liked Part II for what it was as it is still a good story. It's my opinion, of course

reply

Rocky won this time though. That makes all the difference.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Robert Vaughn

reply

Yeah that is true. I guess at the end of the first movie, it kinda threw me off a bit, but that doesn't take anything away from it being a true classic.

reply

And so is II, for my money.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Robert Vaughn

reply

Rocky 1-4 are all classics actually. 5 wasn't the greatest, and Balboa and Creed were more modern made films, so even though those were good, I wouldn't exactly count them.

reply

I'll agree with that.

rocky 1, rocky 3, rocky 2, rocky 6, rocky 4, rocky 5, rocky 7. its funny how retirement is already brought up in this, think it was a comment by his trainer early on, and to think he was still in the ring 2006. the two people in the car was so nasty, but i forgot what a riot burgess meredith was as his trainer, the reason they killed him off in rocky 3 must have been cause he wouldn't return for another sequel, otherwise what a loss and a mistakenly move. another funny scene was his girlfriend's brother sitting sunken down like a lump in the arm fold chair telling rocky he could help him keep healthy. i think they have killed off an original role in each sequel since the third...

hear the sound of the train,
feel like riding to another time another place,
back to richer days,
staying in this forgotten town by myself,
scraping bottom of the barrel,
dealt from the bottom deck,
trying to get by today,
lord unload the weight off my shoulder,
ship it one way the rail track and myself the other,
long for jesus to call me away,
to a better time a better place.
