Stir Crazy or See No Evil Hear No Evil???

Difficult one.....but I think I would have to go with Stir Crazy. Having only JUST bought See No Evil.... on DVD I will (obviously) have to watch it many many times to give it a fair hearing. What does everyone else think? Cast your votes..............................NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy vote for See No Evil, Hear No Evil. Stir Crazy is the third films of Pryor & Wilder's that I have seen. I thoroughly enjoyed Silver Streak and SNEHNE. I was expecting more good times with Stir Crazy but for the most part I found it unfunny.

I enjoyed the introduction to the two characters, the bar fight, their girl watching, arrest/walk into jail, and conviction. But after that I pretty much stopped laughing and kept expecting the film to kick in next gear and make me laugh. It did not. It was rather uneventful.

I saw the preview to Another You and it does not really appeal to me. I have to wonder now if it is going to be as bad as Stir Crazy or will it easily exceed.

See No Evil

Without a doubt.

Stir Crazy's first half is good. Then it drops off the edge of the table.

All I know is Another You is one of the worst movies ever. Ever ever? Ever ever.

After purchasing 'Stir Crazy', 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil', and 'The Toy' on Blu-ray today (I'm a big fan of Richard Pryor's movies) -- I'm going with Stir Crazy. It's just a feel good comedy that I don't get tired of. The 80's score and music brings on the nostalgia even more. Good stuff.

I saw both movies, and they are both great. I can't choose which movie is better.

Stir Crazy for me. You keep laughing even after repeated viewings. It doesn't get old, in fact, it gets better and stands out as we are constantly subjected to politically correct (read: lame) comedies.

See No Evil... was good and had its moments but honestly, not that funny. I always felt it wasted a good idea and three great actors (with K. Spacey). It was ok, but could have been much, much better. Even better than anything Wilder and Pryor did together.

Never be complete.
