Paul Kelman's accent was so thick.


it was especially noticeable since everyone else had I guess what some call the general American accent you hear in most of our movies. Really stood out.

I wish they'd had the entire cast sounding like that, actually. It was a Canadian production, after all. I've seen other Canadian films and they have the actors using that same accent. Of course, accents differ depending on which part of the country you're in, but I think a heavier accent would have made sense where the movie is set, a small mining town.
