Hero is a they? Never miss an opportunity to shut up! I remember my parents taking me to this movie. I hope they stayed faithful to the tech and overall look of Alien and Aliens, though some of it is dated. Sonic hippy rock goddess. Not too surprised at who died first His movies do look great. Should leave the writing to others. I was wrong! One actually can change ones sex. View all posts >

Mid twenties when they made the movie. Kind of young for the Grease cast. RIP. A woman, or a nonbinary person? I thought this movie focused on a non binary who happened to be a, um, birthing person, is the way to say it, I believe. Musicals were already fading in popularity when this came out. There have been a few successful musicals since then and they all had people breaking into song without having a realist reason to do it. Even though the genre wasn't nearly as popular as it once was, they showed people would still come to see a traditional musical. Musicals are still popular on the stage as well. I really don't think Cabaret changed what people would accept from a musical. A funny twist might have been having Danny dressed up more preppily when he meets Sanda in her black outfit. Dang, i envy you. I'm built kind of like one of the Dwarves from LOTR. It makes sense that internet culture, such as it is, would come up when the show is about teenagers, set in the present. I was never excited about it anyway. A drama about how Jason got to be the way he was just didn't interest me. Rob Zombie's Halloween movie went a similar route, and making Michael just a psychopath from a dysfunctional family was disappointing. Kind of mundane, serial killer origin. I liked him better as kind of a mythic creature whose evil and power is shrouded in mystery. Sick burn! I wonder if Twain would have liked Twitter. He did have a gift for getting to the point quickly. 6/10. He's elite at playing posh twats. That one was a stretch. LOL. View all replies >
