I hope they stayed faithful to the tech and overall look of Alien and Aliens, though some of it is dated.

It takes place around the time of those two movies, I believe, so it makes sense within the Alien universe.

Instead of changing and updating everything to make it consistent to what we think looks futuristic now, in 2024, just stay consistent with what we saw in the older movies. Now, it would look kind of like vintage sci fi, but I like it. It would set Romulus apart from other Sci Fi being released today. In the world of Alien, some ships were still using four color CRTs, text based UIs, and computers with vector graphics and there's no need to change that!

And yes, I know that it was just a towing vessel and it makes sense for them to be using older technology, but not that old. LOL. Some of the things we see in Alien are totally obsolete now in 2024. A hundred years in the future, you'd have to go a museum or junk yard to find some of the tech we see in Alien and Aliens.
