They (singular) has (have?) masculine and feminine qualities both, so therefore the words we use to refer to men/women/male/female people do (does?) not fit them properly?
Is that the case here, or maybe it's a different show I'm thinking of.
Regardless of what show they are in, these things aren't anything like as complicated in practice as people make out they are while idly posting about it on message boards and social media.
