First Blood Part 2/Rambo III
First Blood and Rambo are classic action films. I know there's some Rambo fans who don't like the 2008 version, because of the excessive violence/glorification of it. However, I found it to be brutal not just for the sake of being brutal. It sheds light on the horrors of the genocide in that area whilst also providing a perfect catharsis for Rambo as a character.
First Blood Part II and Rambo III are perfectly entertaining comic book pulp representations of Rambo, but they feel removed on an emotional level. He just seems immortal in those films. Nothing can hurt him.

I actually like the whole franchise, and I have a soft spot for the original and the first two sequels since I grew up with those and watched them many times with my dad. That being said, I think Rambo, aka part 4, is the best sequel and the best film of the franchise after the original. First Blood will always remain my favorite though, as it is the most emotionally and dramatically satisfying movie of the series by a distance for me.
