BORING movie, except for the practical effects

When the monster itself is doing its thing, it's a fun movie. But the rest is all a bunch of men talking, and that's dull. I never did get the hype for this movie, and the so-called suspense is missing.

I swear, probably 90% of the dumbest stuff I’ve seen on this site has come from you.

You want a shocker? I don't get the appeal of Fight Club, neither. I never liked that movie, too. It's called personal preference, Sun.

We've found out which of us is the thing, it's foebane!

Do we even need to test his blood?

I think we know the result.

The characters in this are pretty dull and cardboard mostly, except for Mcready and Childs. Everyone else is just alien fodder.

Dialog is so overrated. Why can’t we just play video games 24/7 like a bunch of lemmings.

Go Bernie!

It's a bunch of dude bro scientists talking a bunch of bullshit, interceded by gore effects and explosions.

Dialogue driven movies can work but when the dialogue consists of bickering and all the characters act like 13 year old boys then it's an issue.

This movie's legacy is it's practical effects. Without them it'd have never been re-appraised as a 'classic'.
