The holiday tradition of airing A Christmas Story for 24 straight hours starts Christmas Eve on both TBS and TNT. TBS begins their 24-hour extravaganza at 8 p.m. while TNT starts their marathon at 9 p.m.

tnt usually has better sound, classier crowd.

TNT all the way. When I was a kid I was all about the TBS..now that I'm older..more mature..it's gotta be TNT.

same.

a couple years ago, the roughneck levels in the tbs crowd, really became too much for me to handle with my sophisticated sensibilities.

Awesome. Kid's a legend. It's funny how Ralphie sort of drives the whole thing forward, but all of the other kids are so much more memorable, to me at least; Flick and the pole, Randy, and Scut & Grover.

TNT and TBS are both Ted Turner stations, so its not a competition...it's double dipping!
