How old were you when you first saw this film?

I was about 11 or 12, saw it on tape at home- one of those movies that I "liked" but kinda forgot about, then saw it years later and a lot more made sense, LOL!

I was about 12 when I saw the TV edit, and being 12, I'd somehow seen Christmas Vacation several times without knowing it belonged to a series. I saw the TV edit many more times until seeing the original version when I was about 16.

I was about 9 or 10. I saw it on HBO. I mentioned it to my dad later and learned he loved it too. We watched it together when it would air again. Often by then it would be the cut version.

I never got the adult humor till later. I admit years later as an adult watching this on DVD I was shocked I saw it as a kid. Of course it is nothing compared to today's movies.

I would have been 16 as that the year I was when it came out! I admit I've shown this movie to my 11 year old son as we are going on a USA road trip this summer ( we are from Australia) and then showed him the other three movies! He loves them all like me :)

Lol I'm debating letting my son watch it. We have it on DVD so it's unedited and shows Ellen's breasts for a second. I'm sure it's fine. It would be fun to watch it with my kids. It's a classic.

I was probably about 10, maybe a little younger. My family loved the National Lampoon movies and thought they were absolutely hilarious, so it was kind of always on in my household.

I was about 10 or 11. Just hit puberty and I wished I was the blonde in the Ferrari, wishing Chevy Chase would look at me like that! Lol. I also fell in love with John Candy in this.

Probably about 8 years old. My dad loved Chevy Chase and put it on. Though I think if I remember rightly, it was the TV version I watched. I still love this movie. The recent reboot was terrible. Doesn't compare to this.
